Job Opportunity for BA and Masters Level Clinicians
We are seeking an individual with a Bachelors or a Masters Degree in a Psychology related field to work as a Behavior Specialist with children and adolescents with anxiety disorders. The ideal candidate would be eager to receive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and ready to work as a treatment team member. Our clinic is a small, specialty clinic that treats children with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and related conditions (ADHD, Tourette’s, High Functioning Autism, skin picking/hair-pulling).
The Behavior Specialist job includes training in working with children and families in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The IOP runs 4 days a week for 3-4 hours a day and provides clients with severe and impairing OCD with 1:1 session work. The Behavior Specialist job would assist the primary therapist with exposures therapy, treatment planning, and coordination with caregivers. Supervision available for applicants working toward licensure (e.g., MFT, LPCC, LP. LCSW) or certification (BCBA).
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors Degree in Psychology or a related field. Master level clinicians welcome to apply.
- Minimum 2 years job experience providing direct services to children and families with mental health challenges or Autism.
- Basic understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and anxiety disorders.
- Ideal candidate can commit to the job for a minimum of 2 years.
